Randy Kelley is a Director of Machine Learning at Manifold, where he focuses on helping customers make the most of their data. Working closely with project teams, he connects data insights with product strategy. He has extensive experience managing teams and working across a range of industries.
Prior to Manifold, Randy was VP of Research at LiveRamp, an identity company. There, he coordinated several large cross-functional engineering and science efforts to upgrade platform architecture and model performance. He was active in development work, including state-of-the-art attribution machine learning models that worked with in several marketing channels and tied together multiple conversion paths. Randy also managed a data science team at TiVo, leading efforts to improve the optimization engine, using non-linear techniques (NLMIP), and pioneering the use of Spark in ETL. Before entering industry, Randy was a Nuclear Engineer Officer in the US Navy.
Randy has a BS in Physics from the University of Virginia, and a PhD in Physics from UC San Diego. He completed a post-doc fellowship in Elementary Particle Physics at Harvard University.
