Meghan Blanchette has recently joined Manifold as Director of Communications. In this capacity, she will be creating and executing a communications plan that helps colleagues be as successful as possible during sales conversations, as well as building content relationships with outside companies.
Prior to Manifold, Meg was Director of Content at Dataquest, where she planned, managed, and edited courses for aspiring data scientists. She also worked with and expanded Dataquest's Community Writers Program, a program that provides an opportunity for students to improve their writing and be published for compensation. Before Dataquest, Meg worked for a number of years as an editor for O'Reilly Media, primarily in the Python and Data spaces. She has a strong background in content, and has a talent for helping people realize they're better at creating content than they think they are.
Meg appreciates the opportunities that come with being part of a company at an early stage: “I'm familiar with the challenges growing companies face—I find this work exciting, and look forward to being a part of something foundational.”
She finds the atmosphere at Manifold very motivating, saying, “It's very fulfilling about helping to grow something. The energy in the company is palpable—everyone is kind and full of passion.”
When she's not working on content development, Meg can be found relaxing with her family, wrangling her five animals, or hiding somewhere with a book.
Meg earned her BA degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College, with a minor in Political Science.
