Alan Ning is a Software Architect at Manifold, where he plans and builds machine learning pipelines using site reliability engineering best practices. He has spent his career solving complex problems for large organizations.
Prior to Manifold, Alan was a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Tenable, where he created solutions to scale hundreds of Kubernetes clusters, scaling data stores to the petabytes and using high performance edge computing in Tenable.io. Before Tenable, he was a Site Reliability Engineer at United States Digital Service; there, he architected Veteran Affairs's enormous migration to the cloud and led the Disability Claim Processing System in Social Security Administration.
Alan has a BS in Computer Science and Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
